Apple Just Set Up a Replacement Program for iPhone 5s With Faulty Sleep/Wake Buttons

Apple has acknowledged that some iPhone 5s have a manufacturing flaw that can cause the Sleep/Wake button to malfunction. TThe malfunction reportedly affects "a small percentage" of iPhone 5s manufactured through March 2013. The company has set up a replacement program that will repair or replace devices with unresponsive Sleep/Wake buttons free of charge.

If you're having troubles with your Sleep/Wake button, you can check if your phone applies for a free repair or replacement by checking on the support site. The program has launched in the US and Canada, and will be expanded globally on May 2.

The White/Red Air Jordan 2 will be hitting retailers on June 7th. The familiar colorway was last seen as part of the 21/2 Countdown Pack, and sticks with a more traditional look in comparison to the other 2014 AirJordan 2 releases.

The simple construction features a white leather upper, with the reptile themed leather at the quarter panel. Red handles the heel, inner lining and piping on the Chicago bulls inspired 2. The crispy white leather upper figures to be a must have for most when the shoe drops at the beginning of June.

After an initial preview, END. pulls the covers off its latest collaboration, the Saucony Shadow 5000“Burger.” The gourmet burger-inspired runner takes distinct cues with a series of literal usages of color. The upper is comprised of both nubuck and suede with leather detailing. END. has also taken into consideration the burger’s ultimately customizeable nature with several additional laces created in the form of sealed and branded sauce packages.

The END. x Saucony Shadow 5000 “Burger” will release via a launch party on May 1 at 6pm at End Hunting Co. followed by an online release on Saturday, May 3.

Apple to roll out glut of new products in Q3 including iWatch in two sizes, 'iPhone 6,' 12" MacBook and low-cost iMac

According to a research note obtained by AppleInsider, KGI analyst Ming-Chi Kuo believes the third quarter is going to be a big one for Apple as the company is primed to release revamped iPad Airs and iPad minis, the iWatch in two sizes, an all-new 4.7-inch iPhone, an Apple TV upgrade, an all-new12-inch MacBook and an update to the MacBook Pro lineup. 

With the glut of new products, not to mention new product categories, Kuo expects the third quarter to be a hugely important time for Apple and how the public perceives its future.

"We believe the rumored iWatch will be Apple's most important product this year, carrying much more weight than iPhone 6," Kuo writes, adding, "as market feedback for the product should reveal whether Apple still has the ability to continue making game-changing products with Tim Cook at the helm."

If iWatch is a hit, Kuo believes that in five to ten years Apple's competition in the sector will no longer be tech companies, but fashion brand vendors. 

The analyst says Apple's success hinges on five key factors: replacement demand from larger iPhones; whether the new iPads' minor upgrades will carry momentum in 2014; whether the all-new 12-inch MacBook Air will redefine the notebook user experience; how much low-price iMac can boost overall shipments; and App Store availability on Apple TV.
