AIR JORDAN 8 '3-PEAT'

AIR JORDAN 8 '3-PEAT'

AIR JORDAN 8 '3-PEAT'
Spotted at SneakerMob.. See More pictures here

After hearing of some rumors, it was confirmed that the '3-Peat,' or 'Three Time's A Charm,' Air Jordan 8 will be joining the classic 'Aqua' and 'Chrome' colorways in 2015. The predominately white 8s feature the colors of the teams that MJ and the Bulls defeated en route to their first 3-peat.
The purple and gold of the Lakers, the orange and purple of the Suns, and the red and black of the Blazers are all strewn throughout the midsole in classic Air Jordan 8 fashion. The tongue foregoes the traditional rug-like material and opts for a larger Jumpman stamped on top of the Larry O'Brien trophy.

Air Jordan 6 Sport Blue or September Blue? Detailed Review Comparison Infrared (VI)

Air Jordan 6 Sport Blue or September Blue? Detailed Review Comparison Infrared (VI)

This is a detailed review video of the Air Jordan Retro 6 (VI) in the "Sport Blue" Colorway. In this video I compare it to many other Air Jordan 6s including the Infrared 6 in White, the Carmine 6, the Olympic 6, and the Champagne 6 along with the Sport Blue AJ3. This Air Jordan colorway originally came out in 1991 and this is the 1st retro we have seen of this colorway! This was originally "September Blue" when they came out in 1991, but the name has changed to "Sport Blue" in 2014. Jordan Brand has don't this type of color swap out in other sneakers also including the "Columbia" 11, which is now "Legend Blue". I think this is a way for Jordan Brand to get a color patent that is used on the sneakers, something they probably didn't consider 20 years ago. No official word however, just my 2 cents. Regardless, what do you think of the Sport Blue 6 retro? I think after hearing about the high quality bump we will see with the "remastered" collection starting in 2015, it is hard to cop these and not think about the quality, or lack there of. It is still great to see these come back, now waiting on the 5th and final original colorway of Air Jordan 6 to return, the Maroon 6. (The Black Infrared 6 is slated to release Black Friday 2014).

The rumors are true, the Air Jordan 6 "Black/Infrared" will be returning on Black Friday, November 28th. The release is still a long way off, but we've already begun to see images of the highly coveted Air Jordan 6.
Jordan Brand is celebrating the 23rd anniversary of the Air Jordan 6, and with the White/Infrared 6 releasing earlier this year, it's no surprise that JB is rebooting the Black/Infrared colorway. The infrared color that is so vibrant on the 2014 White/Infrared 6 looks dope against the all black build of the of the iconic silhouette, COMPLETE with an icy blue outsole.
The Black/Infrared 6 might be the most anticipated release of 2014, what do you guys think?

  • AJ VI:
Air Jordan VI- 2010 Retro (Black/Varsity Red Colorway)
The Air Jordan VI had a new design by Tinker Hatfield and released in 1991. The Original 5 colorways were: Black/Infrared, White/Infrared, White/ Carmine-Black, White/Sport Blue, and Off White/Maroon. The Air Jordan VI introduced a reinforcement around the toe, It had two holes in the tongue, and a molded heel tab on the back of the sneaker (Demanded by Jordan so it wouldn't hit his Achilles tendon). Like the Air Jordan V this sneaker also had Clear rubber/"Icy" Soles. The Air Jordan VI was the last Air Jordan to feature the Nike Air logo on it.
Later that year the Bulls defeated the Lakers in the 1991 NBA Finals, with Jordan named as the most valuable player. That was also the first NBA Championship won by Jordan and the Bulls. The Jordan VI was also seen in the film White Men Can't Jump, which was produced in 1991 and released one year later.
The Air Jordan VI has been re-retro'ed many times since its original release in 1991, Notable releases were in 2000, 2002, 2005, 2008, 2010, 2012 and 2014 with the Carmine Colorway.
In 7 years with 6 shoes and just one ring. In addition to a Porsche-inspired rear pull tab and Visible Air the AJ 6 is the first Jordan with an inner bootie. Its striking design serves as a monument to Jordan's efforts and a signpost for the greatness that lies ahead as he captures both league and Finals MVP.
The Air Jordan VI was originally released in 1991. It was retro'ed in 2000, 2002, 2006, 2008-2010, 2012 and 2014.
